Woman dies in motor accident at Rathscar
A woman has died after the car she was driving crashed into a tree in Rathscar, near Maryborough.
The woman was travelling along Dunolly-Avoca Road when it appears she lost control of her vehicle and struck a tree about 2.13pm on Monday.
She died at the scene.
The woman was the sole occupant of the car.
Her death brings the 2016 road toll up to 238, 27 more than at this time last year.
