A man and a woman have been killed after their car hit a kangaroo and flipped onto its side near the small town of Denver north of Daylesford.
Police say the car was travelling north along Daylesford-Malmsbury Road when the accident happened at about 9.30pm on Wednesday.

The driver died instantly and emergency services attempted to revive the woman but she died at the scene.
