It’s well and truly show season in Ballarat.
Ballarat Show director Gerard Ballinger said there was plenty organised for this weekend’s festivities.
All rides and stalls have been set-up and finalised in time for the 150th Ballarat Show, which launched on Thursday night.
“We’ve got a fantastic line-up of entertainment, activities, trade stalls, food, animals, you name it.” Mr Ballinger said.
“The 150th show, what a milestone.”
Petstock store manager Tanya Willison said that thousands of families are expected to flock to the animal nursery.
“I think the lambs and farm animals will be really popular,” Ms Willison said.
Gates are open to the public from 9.30am to 10pm Friday and 9.30am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday.
