While Rebels utility Tom Williamson may not have put together all of his attributes consistently yet, he has all the qualities to be an imposing figure on the football field.
Williamson stands at 188cm and boasts elite agility, having won the agility test at the national combine, great core strength, good hands and speed. He played most of his football in 2016 across half-back, but believes his best football could one day feature in the midfield.
Williamson has all the tools to take his game to the next level and is modeling his game on Western Bulldogs star Marcus Bontempelli. While he acknowledges he has a long way to go to be close to the premiership Bulldog, he is positive ahead of the draft.
“With my body stature, I’d hopefully be a bit like a Bontempelli, but I’ve obviously still got a long way to go to be getting there,” Williamson said.
“I think my size, speed and jump can play a role. Then hopefully I can develop my game further if I was lucky enough to get to a club.”
