Yes, today is going to be quite chilly with a forecast top of 17 degrees and cold nights down to seven degrees, but that is nothing compared to what occurred eight years ago.
The 2008 rendition of the music festival was transformed into a pure mudpit, with 73mm of rain falling over the three days.
Cars were bogged, even rescue trucks were bogged and people slept in pure mud.
Eleven people were treated for hyperthermia and two were even taken to hospital.
But the show must go on. And it did.
So when it gets a bit cold this weekend, maybe spare a thought for those who endured the pain (and joy) of Meredith Music Festival 2008.
