An impressive top-order display from Mt Clear helped it account for North Ballarat in its twenty20 clash.

The Roosters threatened as Tom Phillippe continued his impressive twenty20 form, knocking up a half-century. But it was Mt Clear all-rounder Nathan Yates that proved the difference. Yates made 34 not out and took 4-20 as North Ballarat fell eight runs short, 7-126.
Ballarat-Redan got its first win on the board with a convincing showing against Dunnstown.
Captain Jayden Hayes made 50 to help guide his side to a total of 8-138, before Michael Hayes did the damage with the ball.
Hayes tore through the tail, taking 4-7 from his 2.4 overs.
