The world number 278 is a nomination for the $15,000 tournament, which is set down for Sunday, February 26.
Hall had a strong 2016 season, which included a second-placed finish in the Australia Open after losing a three-way play-off to American superstar Jordan Spieth.
He then went on to finish fourth in the Australian PGA Championship behind champion Harold Varner III.
Other top names to enter the pro-am include three-time Australian Masters top 10 finisher David McKenzie, as well as David Bransdon, Jin Joeng and Ryan Lynch.
Defending champion Chris Thorn is also among the nominations for the 18-hole competition.
Ballarat Golf Club professional David Wallis said it is yet to be confirmed who will actually line-up in the event, but hoped many of the big names will play in the fourth edition of the pro-am at the new course.
“The chances are very high that they will play, but they’ve obviously got bigger commitments in bigger tournaments,” Wallis said.
As of Monday afternoon, a total of 86 golfers were on the entry list.
The Ballarat pro-am – part of the PGA Pro-Am Series - follows the two-day Eynesbury Masters on February 24-25.
