The mystery woman, who lives with her mother, said she initially thought she had won $5000 and refused to believe she had actually won $526,661.35 until she received a phone call from Tatts officials.
She was one of just two division 2 winners in Australia.
“I was looking at it and a row lit up yellow and I thought I’d won around $5,000 and then realised there were more zeros,” she said.
“I went out to check with Mum and she wrote out all the winning numbers and I just kept thinking ‘am I seeing this right?.
“We said we wouldn’t believe it until I got the phone call from Tatts.”
The lucky winner, who wished to remain anonymous, said she would spend her money on house renovations and a new car.
And for the record, the luck numbers were: 25, 38, 43, 21, 41 and 30.
