PROMINENT war historian Gary Snowden is guest speaker for Sebastopol RSL’s Anzac Day service. Mr Snowden led the Garden of Grieving Mother sub-committee, with the garden opened in the national spotlight in February.

Sebastopol Army Cadet Unit will once again be the catafalque party for the service at the Sebastopol cenotaph, which starts 9am.
A veterans’ march will proceed the service.
Historical military vehicles will line Birdwood Avenue, outside the RSL club rooms, in a special display for people to explore after the service. Morning tea will also be on offer in the club rooms, also after the service.
Sebastopol RSL sub-branch president Bryan Nicholls thanked Sebastopol community groups and schools for their support in commemorations.
