Brian Graham was awarded the Ballarat’s best player award as judged by Bendigo.
SERIOUS INJURY
Melton’s Jack Walker is facing a lengthy time on the sidelines – the last thing the Bloods want to hear.
Walker suffered four broken ribs and a punctured run in a sickening knock late in the third quarter.
He had to helped from the field by trainers before being taken to hospital.
Walker was among Ballarat’s better players in the first half.

Bendigo outclassed Ballarat after a dazzling opening quarter.
The home team jumped away to a 13-5 lead and after scoring the first five goals on the second term worked to a 16-point lead.
Ballarat did get back within six goals in the third quarter, but lost touch again after a couple of costly turnovers.
Bendigo then finished with a 21-8 last period.
