Sebastopol, Clunes and Rokewood-Corindhap have specially designed senior football jumpers and netball skirts, while Bacchus Marsh and Mt Clear juniors have football strips.
The Clunes design has been provided by Patrick Freddy Puruntatameri from Milikapiti Community at Snake Bay on Melville Island.
He is a brother in-law of Clunes player Patrick Heenan.
The design is inspired by the Tiwi magpie or magpie goose, which is native to the Tiwi Islands.
While Sebastopol, Clunes, Bacchus Marsh and Mt Clear (under-16.5s) have produced new designs, Rokewood-Corindhap was among the first clubs in the AFL Goldfields regions – first acknowledging the concept in 2014 in response to racial vilification in the game after player Aaron Clarke was racially abused by a spectator in 2013.
