Titled Harrison’s Song, the book explores Harrison’s journey in learning how to use music as a way to express himself and overcome stuttering.
Teacher Carmen Morris said the singer, who is currently working on his third album, had a chat with about 160 of the students about his journey before reading his book with them.
“He was very generous with his time. He met all the students and signed their books,” Ms Morris said.
Harrison Craig’s visit coincided with the celebration of book week for which Ms Morris said a plethora of activities had been organised.
“We have designed work centres based on various picture books. Senior students have designed workshops for junior students with a literary focus.”
