Victoria Mitchell and Stewart McSweyn, who each ran with Eureka Athletics Club while being educated in Ballarat, received invitations for 3000m steeplechases via the IAAF roll-down selection process.
They are among 14 additions who lift the team size to 62.
Each had run qualifiers, but missed initial selection earlier this week.
They join husband and wife walkers Jared and Claire Tallent, and javelin thrower Katherine Mitchell as Ballarat interests competing in London from next Friday until Sunday, August 13.
