The 23-year-old hasn’t played a part in the Central Highlands Football League finals series so far, but gets his chance on the biggest stage this weekend.
Hepburn coach Jason Olver said Liversidge had been racing to recover from a hamstring injury he sustained in round 17 against Learmonth and proved he was right to go at training during the week.
Liversidge has played a small part in Hepburn’s senior ranks in recent years, but established himself as a first-choice player for the club early this campaign.
He has played 13 matches in 2017 and been named in the Burras’ best on four occasions.
Liversidge was one of two additions to the Hepburn side submitted to The Courier on Thursday night.
Onballer Luke Stanton was also picked to return after missing last weekend’s preliminary final with what Olver described as illness.
Former AFL star Nick Dal Santo was missing from the submitted line-up, while dangerous forward/midfielder Jimmy Rodgers, who is battling to overcome a hamstring injury, has kept his place.
