The speech commemorates Ballarat-born Sir Albert Coates who became one of Australia’s top surgeons and a neurosurgery pioneer after serving in both world wars.
The free lecture will be held at the Geoffrey Blainey Auditorium at FedUni’s Mt Helen campus from 6pm on October 10.
