Paint removal works are due to finish on Friday allowing rendering and mason experts to move in and work their magic from Monday.
Ballarat Trades Hall secretary Brett Edgington said it has been business as usual inside the historic site with front door access available again from next week.
“It’s really exciting. The paint stripping has revealed a lot of damage and past repairs,” Mr Edgington said.
“This will restore the hall back to how it was when it was built in 1887.”
Works are delivered under a $200,000 Heritage Victoria living heritage grant for a face-life to the front of the hall.
