Thousands of second-hand books are set to be sold at bargain prices during Uniting’s annual March Book Fair.
St Andrews Hall is set to house over 50,000 books this weekend.
Volunteer, Anita Hilton spoke of how the event supports the community.
“As the books and puzzles have been generously donated, all funds raised over the weekend will go directly towards Uniting Ballarat’s non-government funded programs such as the BreezeWay Meals Program and Lifeline Ballarat.” Mrs Hilton said.
“We’d love to see as many people as possible come through the doors over the weekend to pick up a bargain and support the important work Uniting Ballarat does in the local area.”
