After plenty of work, the long room has been refurbished. Vice-president Shane Dunne was rapt to finally see it all come together while president Julie Pandzitis was a huge driving force behind the plan.
Ballarat MP Catherine King gave $7500 to the club while Elaine-based company Lara Glass handed its expertise to the project in what was a volunteer-built room.
“It’s a lot better than what we had,” Dunne said.
“From what it was to what it is now, it’s one hell of an improvement.”
Dunne said the next goal for the club would be to have the facilities redeveloped.
“A brand new facility would be great, but for the time-being this is great.”
Buninyong MP Geoff Howard was responsible for the footpath that links the town to the oval.
