The man has severe injuries to his face and eye and is expected to be admitted to the The Alfred hospital, an Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said.
BREAKING: A man in his 40s has suffered serious injuries to the head and face in a chainsaw accident at a property near the Rokewood-Skipton Road, Mannibadar.
The Air Ambulance Victoria is en route.
The Rokewood-Skipton Road is expected to be closed for some time while the chopper lands.
The man is believed to have been cutting wood at the time of the accident.
