A regional tasting board Meredith Dairy, Tuki Trout Farm, Salt Kitchen Charcuterie and Black Cat Truffles was served up at Hop Temple each Wednesday in May as part of Plate Up Ballarat celebrations.
Hop Temple manager Zac Hill said it was a fun, tasty way to help a good cause – 100 per cent money raised from the $10 platters went to the farm.
“We really wanted to showcase some of the amazing produce our region has to offer and when our partners were keen to donate the produce, we saw a great opportunity to raise vital funds for an organisation that could really benefit from it,” Mr Hill said.
“We were really humbled by the generosity and can’t wait to work with these awesome businesses again soon.”
