Mr Turnbull gave a wave and shout-out to about 30 Leadership Ballarat and Western Region participants in the gallery when questioned by their host, Ballarat MP and Labor health spokeswoman Catherine King amid the income tax debate.
Mr Turnbull seized the opportunity to declare to the house about the group’s visit to learn about leadership and question an amused Ms King’s leadership on the contentious issue during the firey session.
LBWR was a guest of Ms King in Canberra this week with a full program day in Parliament House.
This program day including a half-hour audience with the Prime Minister in his office and a session with Environment and Energy Minister Josh Frydenberg.
