Ballarat Miners acting head coach Rob Baker said while his players had started well at the Minerdome, a poor five minutes in the second term allowed the Cobras to punish on the scoreboard.
“We have to play 40 minutes and we just didn’t get the 40 minutes done,” Baker said.
“Positives were we were much improved on last week as far as offensive play. The ball movement was better.”
Import Marvin King-Davis stepped up in the fourth term with some big three-pointers and a dunk, but his shooting effort alone was not enough.
“Marv couldn’t miss, he had a great game,” Baker said.
“They left him open at three and he kept hitting the three... he has been working really hard on his game.”
