And for parents of young trampoline fans, the opening this week of Ballarat’s first trampoline park means no more driving to Melbourne or Geelong to let kids bounce off energy.
Xtreme Bounce opened in Delacombe on Thursday with 78 trampolines and a host of attractions to keep children active. In its first two days the centre had about 1000 jumpers testing out the brand new facilities.
“It’s gone really well and we are very happy with how everything has come together,” said owner Rod James, who with wife Jill decided to build the centre after their four children got hooked on trampoline parks during a visit to Melbourne.
