A decision was expected earlier this week, with a hearing held on Monday night.
Following’s Buninyong’s 94-point win over Learmonth in round 13, the Central Highlands Football League website showed that the Bombers’ playing list totalled 43 points, one more than the allocation of 42.
It is understood that an administrative error regarding junior footballer Fraser Hunt is behind the breach.
It is believed Hunt initially came up in the online system as a one-point player, but has since been adjusted to a value of three.
This re-evaluation is due to his recent transfer from the Ballarat Football League.
The outcome of the incident will hold plenty of weight for the CHFL ladder with Buninyong currently in third position, while Learmonth is a game outside the eight.
