History was made at Wallace on Saturday when young Tigers star James Spicer broke the club’s all-time goal-kicking record.

And the 17-year-old will be out to add to his century of majors in the last home and away round of the season this weekend.
The record had stood at 99 and Spicer broke it easily, setting a new high of 101 goals with his bag of four against the Eagles.
The forward has been with Springbank for four years after starting as a Golden Point junior. The talented footballer has also played a few senior games with the Tigers and officials say he’s a great club man.
Spicer is currently 40 clear of Hepburn’s Kyle Yanner on the Central Highlands Football League under-18 goal-kicking table.
Springbank, which is undefeated and on top of the ladder, has a clash with Creswick this Saturday before finals the following weekend.
