FARMER Kev still wants a wife. The Maryborough sheep, cattle and cropping farmer finished filming the television show The Farmer Wants A Wife a week ago, but he remains tight-lipped about whether or not he has met his match. “I think it’s probably as good a result as I could have wished for, but there’s no marriage on the horizon,” he told The Courier yesterday. The 33-year-old made his second appearance on the television series last night, when three of his potential wives visited his family farm just outside Maryborough. “The girls rocked up at the farm in their high heels and then got straight into a bit of work and had a look at my beautiful farm,” he said.Farmer Kev, who has been single for the past 10 years, said it had taken him some time to get used to the constant female attention.“It was bizarre – to have six or seven girls who want your attention,” he said.“You might have girls who are keen on you, but usually you don’t really know it.”A female friend nominated Farmer Kev for the show, after years of nagging him to apply.
