“Harness Education and Re-homing Opportunities” is a joint initiative of HRV and the State Government with the support of the Victorian Racing Industry Fund.
The visit is part of a Ballarat and District Trotting Club “experience harness racing” initiative.
The HERO program will run a series of short sessions detailing all aspects of life after racing options for standardbreds, with an emphasis on developing positive pathways for retired horses.
Group 1-winning pacer Villagem will be among HERO graduates on track for a meet and greet.
