Our customers are overwhelmingly glad it is us relocating to the new purpose-built modern supermarket. Many have passed on their thoughts and best wishes, and are happy all staff will all be offered employment at the new store.
Some of our employees have been at Creswick since Huntley’s owned the business. They know many of our customers by name and have provided friendly service for many years. The staff, along with our customers, give me the confidence to invest in the new supermarket, which will also be great for the local community.

The store manager, Rob has been here for 13 years. He is a proud CFA volunteer, president of the Creswick Brass Band, and an integral part of the current business. He will continue in his role and be a great asset to the new store.
Our produce manager Lisa has been employed at Creswick for more than 18 years. Initially employed by the Huntley’s, Lisa is proud of the fresh produce section, supporting local growers where possible. She is looking forward to new challenges in a larger supermarket. Lisa and her husband David moved to Creswick 20 years ago when David was recruited to coach Creswick’s senior football club. They are supporters of the football and netball club and still involved in a voluntary capacity.
When purchasing from the deli, many of our customers are up for a chat with Wendy, our deli/meat manager and Cath, her trusty part-time 2IC. They both pride themselves on delivering fresh meat, as well as preparing many fine delicacies in the deli. This will continue in a different format in the pop-up shop and be greatly expanded in the new store.
John is our extremely experienced duty manager and looks after the grocery aisles. He can manage the store, has owned his own fresh produce business and is a good sounding board for me.
Our other full-time staff include Helen and Jade, mainly looking after the dairy and freezer sections, but also competent in many areas of the business often assisting with the deli, checkouts, liquor and other tasks.
Judy is a long-term part timer, a third or fourth generation Creswickian. Her father hails from the building industry and is getting great delight in watching the new store being built.
There are many more part-time and casual staff who are also dedicated to providing great customer service.
