FedUni's Arts Academy interim director Dr Rick Chew’s 2008 piece Stari Most, about the bombing of the 16th century Mostar bridge during the Bosnian War, will be performed in the St John’s Church Waterloo on October 6. 

The Ballarat Arts Foundation funded two internships for FedUni students Katherine Gale and Sarah Wynan, to assist Dr Chew with rehearsals and perform in the showcase. 

“Studying music theatre for me is so amazing, but I know there’s so much more to a creative life and a creative career,” Ms Wynan said. “Getting to go over will be amazing to expand our networks and jump start all these other things … including further study avenues.”
