A 56-year-old Lucas woman has been charged after allegedly crashing her Vespa while intoxicated.

Ballarat West Police officers were called to a crash at the intersection of Dyson Drive and Sturt Street on Saturday about 4.30pm.
The woman, who police say returned a positive blood alcohol reading of 0.158, allegedly fell off the Italian scooter and was unable to pick it up off the road.
Her licence was suspended and her Vespa was impounded for 30 days for $1225.
Police say the woman will be charged on summons.
