Children’s Week Kids Carnival
Bring the kids down to the Bridge Mall Shopping Centre to see Australia’s ‘Best Kids Live Show’, The Mik Maks to kick of Childrens Week 2018.
The afternoon will also feature a ton of activities like jumping castles, arts and craft and face painting.

LOLA Art Fair
The three day art fair kicks off with a welcome to country with Bonnie Chew, a Traditional Wadawurrung Woman.

The Ballarat Regional Multicultural Council is holding a fundraising garage sale to help refugee & immigrant women setting up an exciting new Ballarat business and the Ballarat Refugee and Asylum Seeker Support Network.

Kryal Castle Timeline Festival
Kryal Castle will be hosting the sixth annual Timeline Festival.
With over 300 living history re-enactors, and over 30 merchants attending from all over Australia, this is a must-see event.
The Timeline Festival features over 300m of living history encampments, multi-period armed combat displays and tournaments, medieval jousting, skill-at-arms, archery and axe displays, Live Action Role Play, period merchants and much more.

Blue Pyrenees Avoca Cup
Punters are set for an action packed day at this years Blue Pyrenees Avoca Cup.
The day it sure to be full of exciting races, with all eyes on race six.
Harden goes in as the favourite, winning it’s last run at Echuca.

FedUni Arts Mart
Some original creative works by FedUni students available for sale to the public during this weekends Art Mart.
Ceramics, stickers, paintings, custom t-shirts, jewellery, earthenware, handmade toys, drawings and sculptures are all up for sale, so bring some cash down and support these talented students.
Bacchus Marsh Flower and Garden Show
Take the trek out to Bacchus Marsh to see some wonderful flower arrangements on display at this years Flower and Garden Show.

Federation University’s Arts Academy presents Our Country’s Good
The Second Year Acting Company from FedUni will be performing ‘Our Country’s Good’ this weekend at the P.O Box Theatre.
The production is centred on the first Australian penal colony in 1789 and the performance of the first ever play on Australian soil.
When: 2pm and 7.30pm.
Where: Camp Street Campus, PO Box Theatre.
Tickets: $8 for FedUni Students, $17 for concession, $20 for adults.
An Afternoon at the Proms
Violin maestro Ian Cooper returns with ‘An Afternoon at the Proms’.
This stunning spectacular salutes the famous BBC Proms Concerts of London’s Royal Albert Hall, performing all the well-known favourites including Rule Britannia, Radetzky March and Elgar’s Land of Hope and Glory.
Be sure not to miss this world renowned performer as he comes through Ballarat.
