This landmark event ended of fighting on the Western Front, ultimately leading to the end of World War I.
Commemorative events will take place across Sunday paying tribute to those lost in the war.
In town the Ballarat Remembrance Day service will be held at the Arch of Victory at 10.15am.
This service is being put together by the City of Ballarat, the Arch of Victory/Avenue of Honour Committee, both the Ballarat and Sebastopol RSL and Legacy, who are inviting all to come and pay respect to those that sacrificed their lives for Australia during World War I.
Later in the day the Federation University Australia Pipe Band will be performing at the Arch.
Looking outside of Ballarat, there will be a 10am service at the Meredith Memorial Hall which will continue into a family event.
Services will also be held in Creswick at The Cenotaph on Albert Street from 6.55pm and in Kingston from 9am.
