The league has entered into division one of the Central Highlands region tournament.
Bendigo District will compete against Ballarat CA and the Gisborne and District CA for division one spoils.
Ballarat’s first pool clash is against Gisborne and District on December 2, with the competition used as a lead-up to the Melbourne Country Week carnival in early 2019.
The senior inter-association event is named after Ken MacKenzie, the long-time sports editor of The Courier and past manager of the Ballarat Cricket Association’s Melbourne Country Week team.
Ballarat fields an under-21 side in division two, where it will take on teams from Grenville, Grampians and Maryborough and District associations.
