It's been a hectic few months in Ballarat, as state politicians of all colours have come bearing gifts in the hope of winning the prized regional seats of Buninyong, Wendouree and Ripon.

- $300,300 grant towards the Ballarat Innovation and Research Collaboration in Health project (on top of $461.1 million funded for Ballarat Base Hospital upgrade)
- Two-hundred and fifty dental vans across the state
- $100 million for ‘world-class’ Maryborough Hospital
- $1.3 million Maryborough Health CT Scan unit
- Royal Commission into mental health

- A $51.2 million Mental Health in Schools Program

- New Miners Rest Primary School ($15 million+)
- New Lucas Primary School - commitment to go ahead with construction
- Mount Rowan Secondary College ($3.5 million) Siena Catholic Primary School ($1.8 million) and Highview College Maryborough ($4.28 million) upgrades
