A Sebastopol man has been charged over two armed robberies in western Victoria.

The 41-year-old has been charged with two counts of armed robbery at the Sebastopol Bowling Club on October 29 and the Ararat RSL on November 18.
It is alleged staff was threatened with what is believed to be a knife and forced to hand over cash.
Another man, from Melton West, has also been charged over the November 18 hold-up on top of another incident at the same venue a month earlier on October 21.
No staff was physically injured during the robberies.
The Sebastopol man has been remanded to appear at Ballarat Magistrates’ Court on February 21, while the Melton West accused has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on February 12.
