The Ballarat Open Platinum AMT open singles championships move into full swing on Thursday.
Glen Dawes led the charge into the men’s main draw from the qualifying event.
Seeded second in the qualifiers, he reached the semi-finals to secure of the four spots remaining in the event at Ballarat Regional Tennis Centre.
Themi Sitzoukis, Junyi Tang and Connor Di Marco also advanced.
Di Marco meets top seed Jacob Grills in the opening round.

Talia Gibson became the first qualifier to progress when she cruised to a 6-1 6-1 victory in quarter finals in the qualifying event on Wednesday.
The other three spots will determined early on Thursday.
Ruby Rothman plays Chloe Green, Tamara Bajagic meets Leann Serna and Mary Ann Liu tackles Casey Tay.
