A 30-year-old Hampton Park man has been charged over an alleged three month crime spree across the state, which included an aggravated burglary in Ballarat.

The man was charged over a series of incidents including the burglary in Richards Street, Ballarat East on October 16, the first of 13 alleged incidents.
Other alleged offences include a burglary at a fast-food restaurant on Station Street, Koo Wee Rup on November 28 November where $500 in cash, two reams of paper and a slab of coke was stolen.
Other incidents included a series of alleged petrol drive offs and the theft of a Mercedes in Tonimbuk on December 16.
A police media spokesperson said police attended a house at Cottage Court, Hampton Park on Monday where a 30-year-old man attempted to flee from police and resist arrest.
He was arrested by police with the assistance of a police dog.
He sustained injuries and was transported to hospital under police guard.
Following his arrest police executed search warrants at houses in Cranbourne North and Doveton where four stolen motorcycles were located along with other allegedly stolen property.
The man was due to face the Dandenong Magistrates Court late on Wednesday.
