A car has gone up in flames in bushland in Mt Clear this morning.

Fire crews were called to the blaze near Whitehorse Road about 9.15am.
A column of black smoke was visible in the area, alerting firefighters to the blaze.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a ute had been dumped and gone up in flames.
The fire caught on with nearby bushland, but did not spread far.
Police have also attended the incident.
