Cherub Gifts will be no longer operate from March 1, with UFS chief executive officer Lynne McLennan said declining sales and a lack of consumer confidence as the reasons for the closure.
"Unfortunately this is just a natural consequence of the rapid switch to online gift-ware shopping," she said.
Operated by UFS Dispensaries since 1996, Cherub Gifts had been a very popular store for a number of years, however dwindling sales has led to it's current situation.
"We're obviously very sad to see the shop go, it persevered for as long as it could but unfortunately it's gotten to a point where we can no longer keep it open.
All remaining staff members at Cherub Gifts have been offered positions within UFS.
