It is understood staff have been on the premises today collecting personal belongings.
The Courier has this afternoon visited the Lydiard Street pub and its doors are locked up. Normally, the tavern is open on Friday afternoon for lunches.
Earlier this month documents on the Australian Securities and Investments Commission website indicated an administrator was appointed on February 7.
The historic Lydiard Street North pub, which opened in 2013, features a function area, live music, a TAB, and is attached to the Element nightclub.
The possible loss of Miners Tavern is the latest in a series of closures of Ballarat venues over the past year including Seymours on Lydiard, Mojo’s Lounge, and the Athletic Club Brewery.
Miners Tavern is licensed to have 30 pokies. It currently has 24.
The Courier's attempts to contact administrator Patrick Burke at Sellers Muldoon Benton have so far been unsuccessful.
