He will join another high profile recruit from the Ballarat Football League, Darley's Luke Delahey, at the RDFL reigning premier.
Del Papa is a product of the Bacchus Marsh junior program, having made his senior debut in 2011.
However, this is not his venture away from the Cobras.
The bustling midfielder spent 2015 with Werribee in the VFL, where he played in the AFL Development League. He returned to Bacchus Marsh in 2016 to be part of the Cobras' first BFL premiership side.
Del Papa joins fellow premiership players Trent Angwin and Jaydn Trowsdale, and Daniel Foley and Ben Speight as key departures from Bacchus Marsh.
The Cobras have a new coach Peter Davey, who previously oversaw Banyule in the Northern league. He replaces Travis Hodgson, now at Sunbury.
GUS Cleary will bolster Redan's big man ranks with his return to Ballarat Football League this year.
This will be the former North Ballarat Rebels and Roosters VFL-listed Cleary's second season with the Lions.
He played with Redan in 2017 before making his way back to his original club Casterton in the Western Border league last season.
A potential key position player, Cleary, 21, spent a large part of his one year with Redan helping out in the ruck.
MELTON South has strengthened its links with VFL side Port Melbourne.
Anthony Anastasio has become the third Borough player to make the Panthers their home club.
Dylan Conway played a handful of games with the BFL club last year, while Jordan Lisle has changed his alignment from Blackburn in the Easter league. Anastasio previously had EFL side Noble Park as his home club. Melton South coach Heath Pritchard spent time as a runner with Port Melbourne.
