NEW FACES: Recruits Anthony Susnjara from the Sydney Kings and Simon Blennerhassett out of Perth last night put the finishing touches to their preparations for their Miners debut.

NEW Ballarat centre Anthony Susnjara has had anything but an ideal preparation for his debut with the Miners in the South East Australian Basketball League.
Susnjara has had to overcome a bout of food poisoning which has seen him lose seven kilograms.
But the Sydney Kings recruit is not planning on letting that stop him having a big say against Kilsyth at Kilsyth tomorrow night.
Susnjara will join coach Matt Shanahan and Simon Blennerhassett as the experienced new faces in the Miners' first appearance for the year.
Ballarat will be missing Ricky Daniels owing to work commitments, but Shanahan will not talk of anything but a first-up victory. "It's money time," he said.
The Miners rounded out their preparation last night with their third training session for the week.
As far as Shanahan is concerned, there would be no better way than starting his first venture into coaching with a win over his former team.
He had his second stint with Kilsyth Cobras last season.
Ballarat Community Health Lady Miners will also meet Kilsyth at Kilsyth in the SEABL women's conference tomorrow night.
The unbeaten Lady Miners are coming off wins over Launceston and North West Tasmania in Tasmania in the opening week of the new season
