The Bolts lost to Hoppers Crossing by five runs in the north-west A grade one-day grand final at St Patrick's College on Sunday.
Already with the twenty20 title under its belt, Ballarat reached 8-141 in reply to 146.
Extras proved costly for the Bolts, which bowled 21 wides.
Hoppers Crossing gave up only eight wides, which was telling in the end result.
Emily Sculley returned the best figures for Ballarat with 3-19 off her four overs, to give her 17 for the one-day season.
Run machine Renee Moffitt, 40 (seven fours), and Lillee Barendsen, 33, gave Ballarat a promising start with an opening stand of 77.
Scully, 23, and Summer Dehnert, 11, kept the runs coming with a 35-run fourth wicket stand, but Ballarat was unable to keep the momentum going late as it lost 5-11 in the helter-skelter of chasing down Hoppers Crossing.
Moffitt had a stunning season, making 1160 runs across the one-day and twenty20 competitions.
