HOW DOES IT WORK?
One eye is covered and you look into a bowl-like structure.
Lights flash, some bright and some dull.
Patient clicks a button each time they see a light.
Results can measure vision sensitivity - how bright does a light have to be for you to see it, particularly in peripheral vision.
Mr Fairbanks likens vision with concussion to looking through a windshield with areas covered in sticky tape.
