Emergency services were called to the corner of Glenisla Road and Wallaby Track at around 6.25am on Monday morning, with both utes on fire.
The fire did not spread to surrounding grass, and was extinguished quickly.
Neither ute had registration plates, and appeared to have been parked together before being torched. The cars were situated next to a wooded area which has been subjected to a planned burn.
The longer ute was a work vehicle custom-built in 1996, and was stolen from the front of an Invermay Park property on Friday night.
The business owner said they were working on an insurance claim this morning, after the disappointment of the car being burnt out.
"It's the same as any business: it's one of our daily drivers, and it's now not there."
The CFA has previously assessed Nerrina as having an 'extreme bushfire or grassfire risk'.
Police were on scene this morning and are now investigating.
