Christopher Brown pleaded guilty at the Ballarat Magistrates Court on Friday to eight charges relating to the July and February incidents.
They include possessing a prohibited weapon, assault, criminal damage and failing to answer bail.
The court was told police were called to a Sebastopol address on July 23 at 1am in relation to an assault. When they arrived, a man said he had been tasered by his brother-in-law Christopher Brown.
Months later on February 18, Brown attended a Ballarat address where he deflated the tyres of a utility belonging to a Ballarat business, causing $600 damage.
Defence lawyer Manny Brennan said his client had started to use drugs three months before offending. He submitted time already served was an appropriate sentence.
Magistrate Ron Saines said the submission was fair, and deferred sentencing to allow Corrections Victoria to prepare a possible community corrections order breach.
Brown was granted bail with conditions. He will front court again on May 29.
