Ned Collins, who pleaded guilty, was convicted and fined $1750 on Monday.
In October 2013, he was spotted in Sebastopol driving at 60kmh in a 40kmh school zone, while suspended.
Soon after, he moved to Queensland, and the case was not pursued.
In February this year, a witness observed Collins lose control of an unregistered car near Creswick, crashing into a tree.
He was then seen with another man trying to load the car onto a trailer.
Police attended, and a breath test returned a reading of 0.155.
Magistrate Steven Raleigh said Collins was facing jail if he reoffended.
Fine for drink driving acrobat
A Daylesford man was convicted and fined $500 for drink driving.
Mason West pleaded guilty at the Ballarat Magistrates' Court on Monday - he was intercepted on Raglan Street in Daylesford in November 2018, with a breath test showing a reading of 0.141.
He was disqualified from driving for 14 months.
When asked about his job by Magistrate Steven Raleigh, West said he was an acrobat.
"So your work would be pretty up and down?" Mr Raleigh replied.
Caught speeding on highway
A man was warned he would face a jail term if he returned to court, after he was convicted and fined $900 for speeding while disqualified.
Matthew Pengelly pleaded guilty to driving at an alleged speed of 119kmh in a 100kmh zone on the Midland Highway near Blampied in January.
When asked to produce a license, he said he did not have one with him as he was disqualified.
"You've turned your life around, why haven't you learned to slow down?" Magistrate Steven Raleigh asked.
