The St Patrick's College student placed fifth in his individual race at the titles, with Queenslanders finishing inside the top four positions.
Williams then claimed a bronze in the age mixed team relay - the only medal for the Victorians over the carnival.
As well as focusing on his own races, the youngster also had a major leadership role at the championships. He enjoyed the position of vice-captain, where he supported and encouraged the whole team, especially the junior age group.
Williams attended the Triathlon Victoria presentation function on Sunday in Melbourne. He was a finalist in the Junior/Youth Triathlete of the Year category and also finished on top in his age group for the Victorian State Series.
The 2018-19 triathlon season is now over for the Ballarat boy.
