Mietta Tanis will don state colours when she takes-on gymnasts from around the country at the 2019 Border Challenge.
Nicholas Howard will do the same at this year's Australian Gymnastics Championships which kicked-off in Melbourne this week.
The two have been in scintillating form of late, having placed in the top-tier of their divisions at the Victorian Championships.
Tanis placed fourth overall in her class which included a 1st place finish in the vault.
Meanwhile Howard was dominant throughout the competition, taking out the floor, rings and vault events to finish first overall.
2019 will mark the second straight year Howard has competed at the Australian championships after being named national champion of the vault in 2018.
The 13-year-old will hope to repeat his performance this year against stiffer competition.
Eureka Gymnastics head coach Caleb Tivendale said he was in good form.
"This year he's gone up a level and the routine requirements are a bit more difficult, but I suspect he'll do very well again," he said
The Australian Gymnastics Championships will run until June 4.
For Tanis however, the Border Challenge will mark the first time the 16-year-old has received a state call-up.
Having placed highly in all seven of the competitions she's competed in this year, Tivendale said her selection came as a big thrill.
"It's fantastic for Mietta, it was a bit of surprise for her and I to get that selection for the Victorian team," Tivendale said.
"Mietta's routines all-year have all been fairly consistent, especially on vault and she's scored the same numbers for the entire competition season."
Tanis trains four times a week at Eureka, while Howard spends two days a week at The Melbourne Centre for Athletic Performance.
Tivendale said regular training was necessary at their level and could not get through on talent alone.
He expects Tanis to be a regular name on the Australian gymnastics circuit going forward, and said Howard is in the right age bracket to be one day considered for the Olympics.
Tivendale praised fellow Eureka youngsters Gemma Clinton, Chloe Tippett, and Georgia Lennox also represented Eureka at the Victorian Championships.
He made special mention of Clinton who finished second overall in her division after finishing first in the floor routine.
Clinton wasn't eligible for national selection.
