A white van and a grey dual-cab ute collided at the intersection of Darling and Talbot streets just before 12pm on Friday, leaving a trail of damage behind.
Both vehicles came to rest off the road, with the van crashing through a wooden fence on a corner property.
Emergency crews are on the scene, although there does not appear to be any serious injuries.
Firefighters were originally called to reports of one person being trapped in the car.
However, the man in the van was able to exit via the passenger door.
The intersection is blocked off in all directions and motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
Paramedics are on scene attending to the people in the crash.
